I remember years ago commenting to my brother that I wished there were a book that would help me find the word I was trying to remember but couldn’t (as I so frequently tend to do). But soon after, my verbal needs were satisfied when I discovered the existence of the Reverse Dictionary. And now finally, my most trusted online lexigraphers have newly released their own version at Dictionary.com. For anyone who also finds a thesaurus absolutely futile in times of fleeting memory.
